Thank you for your interest in Project Haiti.
We are a non-profit organization that has been dedicated to medical care, education, and related services in Haiti since 1992.
The delivery of medical and surgical care in most of the country remains confused and inefficient. Our efforts are directed entirely toward equipment, supply, and personnel support at Hôpital Biénfaisance, a 65 bed surgical and trauma hospital in the town of Pignon on Haiti’s Central Plateau, located 65 miles north of the devastation in Port au Prince. Hôpital Biénfaisance is undamaged and fully functional. Pignon has an airport with a 5400-foot runway.
In our effort to provide advanced surgical care in this time of crushing need and severe shortage, we are soliciting donations for the acquisition of medical equipment, supplies, and medications to support our surgical work teams and future plans. In addition to ongoing medical and surgical care, health maintenance and emergency medicine, we are establishing a comprehensive Prosthetics/Orthotics and rehabilitation program for the many, many victims of the earthquake.
Please help us continue our work in support of the Haitian people in this time of desperate need. Please donate to Project Haiti today.
